About Us
St. Clair Kennel Club was incorporated in 1971.
We are located in southeastern Michigan north of Detroit. The Blue Water Bridges to Canada are located in Pt. Huron which is our county seat. Our shows in the 1980’s were held in Pt. Huron at the then new McMorran complex..
Originally licensed to offer only all-breed shows, we are now licensed for Rally, Obedience, Farm Dog and AKC Temperament Tests. We were granted AKC Fit Dog Club status in 2018.
We meet the first Wednesday of the month at an area restaurant. Check the Home Page for times and locations.
Our shows and trials are held at Goodells County Park, Goodells MI. The Virtual Rally activities are held at Great Lakes K-9, Runnels St., Pt. Huron.

Before our club there was another AKC all-breed club in our area that apparently dissolved shortly after World War II. We welcome information about that first club and stories and photos of the early days of our club.
This club would not be possible without the efforts of our club members who make the shows go, take the photos, steward rally and obedience, set up the grounds, plan the parties, and a thousand other things that make our club work.
Thank you.
Mission Statement
The mission of the St Clair Kennel Club is to encourage and support the responsible breeding of pure-bred dogs and to encourage responsible dog ownership.
